Crowds crowd and clamber up
And over sand dunes
On a chilly sunny Sunday
To see seal pups
With their mothers
On the shore,
Lumbering
Slumbering
Dozing, lazing
Posing, gazing
Breathing, heaving
Some are totally inert -
Like giant pebbles
And over sand dunes
